RooPad is made from thick fabric, not thin paper and plastic, so it's much harder to tear up than a disposable pad.
The absorbent layers lock wee in, so it's not sitting on top. Wash it regularly — that's what the extra pads in the 6-pack are for — and it stays fresh.
Machine wash on a normal cycle, then hang to dry or tumble dry on low. Skip the fabric softener — it can reduce absorbency.
